Fertilizer - Application #1 (early spring)
Our March/April application features an all-granular time-released lawn fertilizer with crabgrass pre-emergent. This application serves two major purposes. First, it infuses your soil and root system with vital nutrients to help your lawn recover from dormancy at maximum health. Secondly, and just as important, it introduces a pre-emergent into the soil to prevent the growth of crabgrass and other broadleaf weeds. This application does NOT contain any liquid blanket weed control- because the weeds and crabgrass have yet to emerge.
Fertilizer - Application #2 (Spring weed and feed)
This fertilization treatment is done in May. It contains nitrogen-rich all-granular fertilizer with Iron and a liquid blanket weed control. This application is designed to insure your grass doesn’t run out of essential nutrients during a time of explosive growth and to remove any newly germinated weeds throughout the property.
Fertilizer - Application #3 with grub prevention (late spring/summer)
Done in June or early July, this lawn application is a deep-greening, all-granular, time-released lawn fertilizer WITH Season-Long GRUB PREVENTION and spot liquid weed control. This application re-introduces nutrients to maintain healthy growth moving into the summer as well as keeps your turf free of harmful root-feeding insects known as Grubs. This application also provides the technician an opportunity to treat for remaining weeds and diagnose any issues present in the lawn.
If grub control is not desired, a regular fertilization application using granular fertilizer with iron can be applied at the regular per application price.
Fertilizer - Application #4 (summer)
This lawn fertilization application is done in July or August and contains a time-released, all granular fertilizer with iron for deep greening during the summer heat stress period. This application re-introduces nutrients to maintain healthy growth during the summer and provides the technician an opportunity to treat for remaining weeds and diagnose any issues present in the lawn.
Fertilizer - Application #5 (fall weed and feed)
This application is done in September or early October consists of a time-released, all granular fertilizer, and liquid blanket weed control. This application features a robust infusion of nutrients to maintain healthy growth throughout the fall growing season and provides the technician an opportunity to treat for remaining weeds and diagnose any issues present in the turf.
Fertilizer - Application #6 (winterizer)
The final lawn care treatment is done in October or early November is an all-granular fertilizer that contains a blend of macro and micronutrients with iron to get your lawn ready for winter. This application ends the year with the lawn nutrient-rich which will help reduce the impact of snow mold and quicker recovery from dormancy the following spring.
